Sunday Service

In-person services are meeting at 1701 Dodson Ave suites A & B. Join us for worship, word, communion, and fellowship.

Current Monthly Schedule

1st Sunday – Spiritual Formation

On these Sundays, we’ll engage in a contemplative exercise intended to deepen our spiritual formation. You can expect things like lectio divina, centering prayer, and meditation on scripture. We will usually end with communion and discussion.

2nd & 4th Sundays – Traditional Liturgy

These Sundays are likely more of what you’re used to:  musical worship, sermon, and communion. We also have a livestream option available on these Sundays.

3rd Sunday – Brunch Church

During brunch church, we enjoy a meal together and are led in a discussion of a passage of scripture (called a dialogical sermon form). This is much more casual with a great deal of focus on fellowship, food, and group discernment. We will end with communion together. Since the format is different and geared toward dialog, we will not have a livestream on these Sundays.

5th Sunday – Church Visits

This year we are spending the 5th Sunday of the month at another Christian community. This is in an effort to better educate ourselves on the various expressions of Christianity as well as locate ourselves within the tradition. The location we next visit will be posted on the website.

What to Expect on a Sunday

Come as you are! All ages, genders, orientations are genuinely welcome.

Dress comfortably (i.e. no suits and floppy hats required but you’re welcome to them).

Plan to show up a little early to get settled in and get to know one another. We will have coffee, tea, water, and the occasional snack to go with it. Take a look at the information above for particulars.

Our liturgy will be pretty much the same as it has been for years.
